It’s okay to ask for help when you need it, but the following are things that every woman should know how to do without needing to ask for help.
Check the Oil
You may already know that your oil needs to be changed every 3 months or 3,000 miles. (Whichever comes first.) But any woman who drives a car should know how to check the oil. If the oil is low, or dirty, this can cause damage to the vehicle. It’s much safer to check your oil at least once a week and make sure everything is as it should be.
Women are emotional beings, and that is as much of a gift as it can be a curse. When somebody or something causes us pain, we find it much easier to hold onto that weight. It is important to learn any lessons needed out of the situation and move on. Letting go is a gift we can learn to do on our own to live a happier life.
Build a Campfire
There are many survival tricks that are fun to learn, and if you enjoy spending time outdoors then you may already know a thing or two about how to survive in the wild (just in case.) But every woman should know how to build a campfire on her own, just because.
Change a Tire
Another important thing for any driver to know is how to change a tire on your own. You may have a spare tire, and a cell phone, but it is much safer to be prepared for the absolute worst case scenario of a flat tire where you will need to do it yourself without phoning a friend.
Kill a Spider
Yeah, I’m having a hard time with this one myself.
Use a Screwdriver and a Hammer
Sure, you know how to use these tools… but many women will wait for a man to complete a household task that is as easy as using a hammer or a screwdriver. Rather than waiting for a long period of time, you can just do it yourself.
Make a Staple Meal
Most women already know how to cook several amazing dishes, but every woman should have a staple dish. When people think of their mother or grandmother, they often recall one particular menu item that this person made the best of. What is yours?
Basic Self Defense
Women should know basic self defense tips, because we are more likely to be victimized but that doesn’t mean we have to be a victim.
Live Within Your Means, and Enjoy Life!
Money is a stressful topic for nearly everyone, but when you learn to plan out a budget, live within that budget, and enjoy life on a daily basis then you are truly a happier, healthier, and stronger woman!
