Here at SafetyGirl, we talk a lot of the NAWIC. We do this because this organization highlights women in the workforce, specifically the construction industry.
Are you a woman in construction? Do you enjoy meeting other women in construction? The NAWIC Annual conference is this August!
It consists of a 2.5 day conference where you will learn, discuss diversity, discuss industry awareness, enjoy good food, meet new people and buy from vendor tables. You may register as a non-member or member (members just get a little bit of a discount)
You can also take a prep course and take a test for become NEF Estimating and Scheduling Certified or be involved with a chapter leadership training.
This is an exciting event to celebrate women in construction and appreciate the work they do everyday.
